Moth & Lantern is our slow game. There is no score, no fail state, and no dialogue — you guide a lantern through an abandoned glasshouse and the moth follows, opening paths by casting shadows in the right direction.
The whole game ships as 1,400 gouache frames, compressed into a custom atlas format so the download stays under 90MB. Light is computed on a low-resolution shadow buffer, which is what lets the painterly look hold up on mid-range GPUs.
It has no ads, no in-app purchases and no analytics beyond crash reporting. It sells once, for the price of a coffee, and it remains the title reviewers write to us about.
