Shared envelope budgeting with local-first storage and an end-to-end encrypted sync.
Ledger Jar came from a problem inside the studio: two people, one joint account, and no budgeting app that handled disagreement gracefully. Envelopes are shared, edits are attributed, and nothing is silently overwritten.
Data lives on the device first. Sync is opt-in and end-to-end encrypted, and the app has no server-side view of a household’s finances at all.
